Have you gone to the coffeeshop blog. She has a ton of free actions you can download. Although, I can't figure out how to open a photo in PS let alone use actions, so I am perfectly clueless. Also you should have a tool in PS called High Pass Filter, which will sharpen your photos too - look for that!
