Pinterest Addict

I know I'm not the only one when I say I'm completely obsessed with Pinterest. Maybe even a bit addicted, but we won't go there. I debated accepting an invite to Pinterest for a few months knowing that once I started, I wouldn't be able to stop pinning! The invite sat in my inbox and kept tempting me until I finally gave in and here I am. Obsessed. Addicted.

My favorite part about Pinterest is finding new recipes to try and so I feel like at least my hubby is getting something from my time spent pinning. He enjoys trying out new things and I feel like I'm putting decent meals on the table. We've found a few that we really like and a few that were okay but needed some tweaking.

I'm also into the DIY crafts, especially for the kids. All these ideas are quite creative, inexpensive, and easy for the most part.

Yesterday I decided to run out and grab materials to make a horse on a stick. I found the tutorial on Pinterest a few weeks ago and knew at some point I would give it a try. Abby loves playing with her friends' horsies and lately has been using her blanket as a horse, so I figured why not? I was feeling crafty and actually had some down time, so why not take advantage?

Meet the horse. :)

Abby was excited to ride her horse all around the house. Max trailed her most of the time, trying to figure out her new toy. Too cute.

Unfortunately I didn't get too many pictures because she was running way too fast with that thing. Most of my shots turned out like the one below. But ... she was happy and totally loving her new toy.

And I'm loving my newest obsession ... already looking for my next project :)

That horse is just precious. I know exactly what you mean. I am most definitely unhealthily obsessed with Pinterest.

I'm with you regarding the Pinterest obsession. I love it and have tried many great recipes. When I try a new one I usually hear Mike say 'pin it', he likes the new meals that come from it! Ha, glad it's a vice that he benefits from too! ....and you did a fantastic job on Abby's new horsey! Love it!
