Wordy Wednesday - 16 months

Abby turned 16 months old last Thursday and I swear she's changing every single day. It seems like each day she is surprising me with something new. Her newest words (and clearest) are "cookie" and "cracker." Abby still loves to dance and listen to music, but lately has taken a liking to coloring. Well.. she may like the crayons more than the coloring part of it. She is quite content to take the crayons out of the box and then put them back in. Over and over. It's always the little things that amuse a small child!

On Monday, Abby had her 15 month well-visit (a month late). Abby may have a belly on her, but she is on her way to being a taller and leaner baby. She weighed 24 pounds, which puts her in the 60th percentile for weight. For the first time, Abby was in the 90th percentile for height, measuring 32.5 inches in length. It looks as though she'll be tall like her Mommy and Daddy. Abby has a mouthful of teeth now ... working on number 10! What a big girl!

Our whole family has been fighting a cold/cough for a month now it seems. It was perfect timing to have the well-visit appointment so the doc could make sure the lingering cold was getting better. Thankfully, Abby has been feeling better this week. It's time to get ready for Christmas! Lots of new photos to come soon!

Thank you Aunt Jenny for my new tunnel, I love it!

Abbey is just precious!

Happy 16 months to you both! GG has a tunnel like that too and loves it. Some times it's just hard to get her out of it! Haha!

Merry Christmas to you and your family, Liz!

How cute. BTW, congrats on the new lens. To answer your question...no I did not get out to take pictures of the moon. Unfortunately, it was a bit cloudy!
