To celebrate Abby's fifth birthday, we had a painting party! Abby is really into arts and crafts and we always have a fun time when we visit the pottery painting studio.
What I liked most about the party was that it was simple. Nothing over the top (like we sometimes do) ... just some friends, paint, balloons, pizza, and cake pops. That's all you really need, right?!
The kids enjoyed picking out their pottery piece and painting it the way they wanted. They had fun with each other and were a bit silly! Lots of yawns (Friday afternoon might not have been the best choice for these Kindergarten newbies), lots of laughs, and lots of hugs!
